Casa Laranjeiras - Ilha Das Laranjeiras

Laranjeiras House
Contemporary architecture with a clean and understated design language.

A quiet, white home that turns inward from the street and opens toward the rear.
Its placement on the lot allows natural light to follow each space throughout the day, shaping forms, shadows, and clean lines that define the home’s rhythm.
On the ground floor, a central patio and the opening toward the side setback create a living–dining area illuminated from three sides, maintaining a constant dialogue with the garden. Upstairs, the four ensuite bedrooms are arranged so that three face north and one east, maximizing sunlight throughout the day.
Strategically placed skylights in the stairwell and bathrooms bring natural light in and reinforce the home’s warm, tranquil atmosphere.
With 297 m² of built area and generous outdoor spaces, the house balances proportion, light-filled spaces, and comfort. Materiality reinforces its contemporary identity: white walls, Portobello porcelain tiles, microcement bathrooms, matte-white aluminum frames, a main door combining wood-textured aluminum with ACM, and a cumaru deck.
Every detail reflects a pursuit of precision and serenity — architecture designed to be lived with light, restraint, and sophistication.
